Care Contracts

The MCS Care contract proposition was specifically designed to provide clients with the ability to obtain 'on demand' access to MCS IT recourses supported by an SLA driven framework for day-to-day operational IT support coverage. Organizations rarely possess all of the necessary IT skills in-house to successfully deliver on operational and/or one off IT project requirements. The MCS Care Contract is an SLA backed co sourcing contract that allows the client to drawn on experienced MCS IT resources when a little extra 'gas in the tank' is needed.

The Care Contract framework provides guaranteed SLA coverage for corrective maintenance IT issues such as system failures and mission critical incidents. In addition, clients have the benefit of drawing on MCS IT resources to assist with proactive and planned project based engagements. For example, an MCS client may be have a requirement to deliver a software implementation project though lack an in-house application specialist which is needed for a specific aspect of the project delivery. In this example, the Care Contract would allow the client to obtain the much needed expertise locally from MCS on a temporary basis. This 'on demand' ability to access seasoned technical resources allows IT managers to extend their IT delivery capability and overcome the unpredictable demands that IT projects often bring without having to increase head count or retrain/refocus existing staff.

Given the SLA back nature of the contract and the ability to gain 'on demand' access to IT resources, then it is no surprise that this is a very popular engagement model among MCS’s clientele.
