IT Managers often find themselves with disjointed networks and systems that have either evolved over time or been inherited through acquisition. Often temporary solutions become permanent and systems become over-utilized and under-sized. Sometimes the solutions are simply “badly implemented” due to a 3rd party service provider or ex-member of staff who lacked the specific knowledge and expertise. MCS is able to offer a “full infrastructure” review of the entire environment or alternatively a more specific review of a particular element of the environment.

The “full infrastructure” review of the entire environment includes Servers, LANs, WANs, Firewalls, Operating Systems and Applications. This service as it is typically done by two Consultants and takes anything from two man days to five man days depending on the size of the environment. At the end of the review the client is presented with a Full Report outlining the strengths and weaknesses of the current environment. The client is also presented with a “Get Well Plan” that outlines any “high”, “medium” and “low” priority issues that have been identified, along with a budgetary cost for remedial action.

Alternatively clients may decide to select the smaller “low-cost” service that reviews a particular element of their environment and this is typically done by one Consultant and takes one or two man days. Again a Full Report is presented along with a “Get Well Plan” if appropriate.
